I have been an avid bicyclist for more than 30 years. Although the sport is an excellent heart-healthy exercise, a few minor crashes coupled with the aging process began to interfere with my rides. A torn rotator cuff, sporadic back pain, and a touchy knee resulted in more couch time than bicycle time. My physical therapist suggested a strength training program that focused on upper body strength and core conditioning. I searched for a trainer who could work with my limitations yet still deliver results. I found that trainer in Maggie.  Almost one year later, I am pleased with my progress.

 
Improvements in my core strength have reduced those nagging backaches and have allowed me to ride longer distances. My upper body is also stronger and more flexible and I have noticed fewer stress injuries and muscle soreness. Even though I’m not the fastest rider in the pack, I finished the El Tour de Tucson this year and plan to continue for years to come.   Albert M.
