I have been an avid bicyclist for more than 30 years. Although the sport is an excellent heart-healthy exercise, a few minor crashes coupled with the aging process began to interfere with my rides. A torn rotator cuff, sporadic back pain, and a touchy knee resulted in more couch time than bicycle time. My physical therapist suggested a strength training program that focused on upper body strength and core conditioning. I searched for a trainer who could work with my limitations yet still deliver results. I found that trainer in Maggie. Almost one year later, I am pleased with my progress.
