Margie Darling has been certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise since 1996. For eight years she
was able to indulge her love of the outdoors with a job as a Hiking Guide for the Canyon Ranch Resort and Spa here in Tucson. She worked as an adjunct faculty member in the Fitness and Conditioning Center at Pima Community College for three years, and spent
seven years training clients at a women’s-only fitness center.
Margie has worked with clients ranging in age from 18 to 92, but now
specializes in the 55+ age group. She has had great success with her clients who have osteoporosis and those who are pre-op
and post-op for hip and knee replacements.
Margie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and belongs to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She is a member of the Junior League of Tucson, the NSCA, the Southern Arizona Running Club and the Southern Arizona Hiking Club. In January 2007, Margie was featured in Tucson Lifestyle magazine about personal trainers in Tucson.
She continues to build on her reputation as a personal trainer and inspires her clients to success. She looks forward to helping more and more people, especially those 55 and over, meeting their fitness goals.
