There are lots of weight-loss programs out there. I've tried a lot of them, and some of them work...
...for a while.
Then
I would hit the inevitable plateau. And I would try harder, and keep going.
Until I just couldn't.
I was in my 40s and in
remarkably good shape considering that despite my best efforts I was 15-20 pounds overweight. I had resigned myself to hiding behind
my baggy clothes and hiding my mid-section (where the majority of the weight seemed to be). With all my years of experience as a peronal
trainer, I felt a little bit like a hypocrite when it came to helping other people meet their fitness goals!
Until I learned
how to break the cycle...
The secret to breaking through the plateau rests in understanding the body's relentless adaptation cycle. Simply restricting your
calorie intake will not deliver permanent results (if you even lose the weight you want to). Your body will slip into survival mode
and fight you every step of the way.
Understanding how your body stores and uses its energy is essential to beating your body
at its own game.
I can help you implement those changes, because I've "been there, done that" for the very last time!
