There are lots of weight-loss programs out there. I've tried a lot of them, and some of them work...
 
...for a while.
 
Then I would hit the inevitable plateau. And I would try harder, and keep going.
 
Until I just couldn't.
 
I was in my 40s and in remarkably good shape considering that despite my best efforts I was 15-20 pounds overweight. I had resigned myself to hiding behind my baggy clothes and hiding my mid-section (where the majority of the weight seemed to be). With all my years of experience as a peronal trainer, I felt a little bit like a hypocrite when it came to helping other people meet their fitness goals!
